We would like to welcome you and your family to the second largest fresh water lake within the continental United States.  As our guest you will enjoy a fun-filled camping and outdoor adventure on Lake Okeechobee’s 640 acre “Island Jewel” rich with wildlife and historical treasures that offer an array of natural wonders and recreational activities for the outdoor enthusiast.  With its unique ecosystem, the Island offers campers and guest premium full-hook up campsites, security gates, children’s playground, laundry facilities, covered pavilions, brand-new six lane boat ramps with ample parking, a bait/tackle store for all your fishing needs, and an 18-hole golf course

Torry Island Campground & Marina located in western Palm Beach County near Belle Glade on the southern shores of Lake Okeechobee.  Anglers and boaters will have direct boating access to “America’s Bass Fishing Capital of the World” that only Torry Island offers.  Be sure to bring your binoculars for ample bird watching such as bald eagles, ospreys, snail kites, roseate spoonbills, blue-winged real and many more as you hike or bike along the famous Hoover Dike that surrounds the lake.  An observation tower is available that will allow you to obtain a better view of the lake, wildlife and surrounding areas. We also offer 2 recreational walking nature trails to view our wildlife or fish.  Golfers, bring your clubs and play a round of golf at Belle Glade Golf Club which is the only course located on the shores of Lake O.  If you enjoy picnics with family and friends, the Campground offers covered pavilions lined along the Rim Canal and while relaxing, you’ll see local anglers fishing for big bass and our abundant speckled perch, or watch as the state’s only historical swing bridge opens and closes allowing sailboats to cross the Okeechobee Waterway or simply cast a line from shore while enjoying your day. 

The management staff at Torry Island Campground is committed to making your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible and are available 7 days a week.
