To purchase materials, supplies, and services at the best value based upon the four rights—quality, quantity, time, and price consistent with the needs of the organization.
To protect the integrity of City funds. The Purchasing Division accomplishes this goal by developing effective systems, methods and procedures for all city staff to follow.
To maintain fair and equitable relationships with all business partners, staff and the general public through the demonstration of a transparent and ethical procurement process consistent with State of Florida Statutes, the City’s Code of Ordinances and the City’s Procurement Code.
